Things are moving and shaking over at One Steamboat Place at the base of Steamboat Resort. We're ready to announce some new residences (and updates) by Moving Mountains and some improvements at the base that are just steps away from One Steamboat Place.
The last few years have been filled with lots of work updating the base at Steamboat Resort. We're happy to share that the base improvements are finally complete! This season, you can enjoy:
Skeeter's Ice Rink
The ice rink in the center of Steamboat Square is open to the public! Enjoy ice skating with the family in the heart of it all.
Wild Blue Gondola
The new Wild Blue Gondola will be the longest gondola in North America and the fastest 10-person gondola in the country. The lower leg is now open! The upper leg will open in Winter 23/24. Steamboat now has two gondolas servicing the base area.
The Range Food + Drink Hall
Opening mid-season this year, The Range Food + Drink Hall will offer Sunshine Bowl Ramen, Pioneer Pie, Twister Tacos, and Why Not Sandwich Shop.
Steamboat Square
Newly named and improved, Steamboat Square has better accessibility with an escalator, move spaces to relax like custom firepits, a new bandshell, and of course - the ice rink! Come check out the new updates, just steps away from One Steamboat Place.

Moving Mountains is excited to introduce the Bison Peak residence with ample space and comfort for up to 12 guests. The floor plan of this stunning residence features a large open living area that is perfect for entertaining with a toasty fireplace. A beautiful and professionally equipped kitchen will delight any aspiring chefs along with a built-in Viking gas grill on the deck and views to behold.
A beautiful primary suite features a king bed, valley views, a gas fireplace, and a spa-like attached bath complete with a large dual vanity, steam shower, and soaking tub with more great views. Three other bedrooms are on the opposite end of the residence including a king bedroom, a dual queen room, and a bunkroom the kids will love.
- Panorama Peak Penthouse, One Steamboat Place #601, was a private residence for a few years, but is now available again as a luxury residence rental! The best news is that they have added a private hot tub to the balcony. This is the only private hot tub available in One Steamboat Place rentals. Enjoy après ski on your own deck this season.

The stunning Panorama Peak Penthouse is located on the top end of the west wing at One Steamboat Place, granting it panoramic views of the east side of the ski area, the Yampa Valley with the Flattops Wilderness in the distance and Emerald Mountain sunsets to the west. Three decks give plenty of options for watching sunsets and mountain splendor at this one-of-a-kind residence boasting the only private hot tub available in One Steamboat Place vacation rentals.

Newly refurnished and impeccably luxurious, the Maroon Mountain residence offers beautiful four-bedroom accommodations with views over the entrance to Steamboat Square and the west valley. The open floor plan flows from the living area to the kitchen and onto a separate dining area. Beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, the great room is also equipped with a flat-screen TV, cozy fireplace, and seating, to relax after a full day of mountain fun.
