Spilling the Beans: Our Favorite Vail Valley Coffee Shops

Joe, java, mud…whatever you call your cuppa, coffee gets us going in the morning and keeps us buzzing throughout day. Some grab a strong black coffee on the way to the ski slopes or trailheads; others sip on a mid-morning espresso in between meetings; and many savor a decadent matcha on a weekend.

The Vail Valley has no shortage of coffee (and tea) shops and our team definitely has their own rituals and favorites. Here’s where they go on the way to the office to get their caffeine buzz or linger over a latte on their days off.

"I am will never stop singing the praises of Eagle County's only independent bookstore! The Bookworm of Edwards. The cafe inside the bookstore has delicious food as well as coffees, smoothies, and teas. The crepes (sweet & savory!), salads, toasts, and soups are all made in house with locally sourced ingredients. During the holidays their seasonal Tiramisu Latte is amazing. Especially if you request your latte Breve style, made with half and half instead of milk." – Arianne Hughes, Front Desk Specialist

"The Bookworm of Edwards is amazing, the crepes are fantastic, and the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable.  Plus a lot of the names of items on the menu are literary, from the Green Eggs and Ham crepe, to the Treasure Island smoothie, to the Giving Tree avocado toast.  Plus who doesn’t love a local independent bookstore?" – Ryan Miller, Quality Assurance Specialist

"Yeti’s Grind is a great local place for coffee and breakfast as well.  It’s a great way to support local business and they have a high-quality product.  Delicious pastries and breakfast items as well!"– Bobby Cornwell, Property Specialist

If you're in Vail Village, swing by their location by the covered bridge. Or in Avon at the base of Beaver Creek. It's a local's favorite!"– Robin Craigen, Co-Founder | CEO | President

"Located right in the heart of Vail Village, Two Arrows takes their coffee (and cocktails), culture and community seriously. I always grab an Americano to go on my way up to Gondola One." – Teresa Wiedel, Brand & Guest Experience Manager

"If you find yourself on a scenic drive or enroute to an excursion out of Vail, be sure to stop through Leadville, the highest incorporated city in North American and historic mining community. Grab a coffee and a breakfast burrito and you're set for your day's adventures!" – Heather Craigen, Co-Founder | VP
