With stylish interiors, exceptional amenities, and space for up to 16 guests, this modern retreat is perfect for ski vacations, family reunions, and year-round mountain getaways.
The spacious main living area is located on the upper level of the home, providing elevated views of the ski mountain and the sprawling Yampa Valley. Gather in the living room around a gas fireplace for conversation, games or movies on the big screen TV.
The kitchen is a stunner with its high-end appliances, artistic tile, big walk-in pantry, wine fridge, and large island with bar seating for four. Enjoy meals with a view of the ski slopes from the 10-person dining table. Or in warmer months, take your dining al fresco on the large deck with a gas grill, firepit, and dining table.
The primary king suite is on this upper level off the main living space. Relax in luxury with a fireplace, TV, private deck with firepit, and large bathroom with soaking tub and separate steam shower.
The home’s lower level is where the fun and games begin. The sunken family room features a big screen TV, arcade game, air hockey and a climbing wall. No need to venture far when everyone gets hungry and thirsty from all this activity. There’s a wet bar complete with a beverage refrigerator and sink.
Slow down the pace on the heated outdoor deck. It's located off the main level, with comfortable seating, outdoor heaters, and a relaxing private hot tub.
The additional four bedrooms are split between the lower level and main level. On the lower level close to the family room, kids will delight in two bunk rooms, both of them with ensuite bathrooms. One of the bunk rooms features two twin-over-double bunks. The second bunk room has three sets of twin-over-twin beds.
On the main level of the home, a queen room with an ensuite bathroom with a shower only is off the main entry as you come in the front door of the home. Down the hall is a king bedroom. The bathroom features a shower only and is accessible through the bedroom, as well as the hall.
Spotted Saddle Lodge is full of modern amenities for guests’ ultimate comfort, including a Sonos sound system, full laundry room and mud room coming in from the 2-car garage where you’ll also find a boot dryer and EV charger. There is additional parking in the driveway for two vehicles. And guests will enjoy air conditioning in warmer months.
This residence is in the sought-after Wildhorse neighborhood that is centrally located between downtown Steamboat and the ski resort. It’s close to walking/biking paths, and the local tennis/pickleball center is within walking distance.

Getting to the Tennis Center at Steamboat could not be more convenient for your next pickleball or tennis match. For easy access to the ski slopes, you can utilize the private Wildhorse gondola, just a 5-minute walk from the home and takes you straight up to the main gondola. Or simply schedule a pickup with the Moving Mountains complimentary ski shuttle to be whisked right up to the base area or downtown for shopping and dining.

Has everything you could ask for 
Steps from the Steamboat Gondola, The Spotted Saddle Lodge has everything you could ask for. This house has so much room to host large group but still manages to feel very cozy. It's proximity to all of Steamboat was a huge plus, and the free shuttle service provided was incredibly convenient. Management could not have been more accommodating and went far out of their way to make sure we were content with our stay. I would highly recommend anyone who is planning a trip to Steamboat to stay at the Spotted Saddle Lodge.

Spotted saddle lodge had great, modern accommodations within short walking distance of steamboat gondolas. Spacious kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and many appreciated amenities such as hot tub and game room with air hockey and other games. Highly recommended for families and groups.
It’s a first-class experience from start to finish!
We just spent an incredible week at Spotted Saddle Lodge, and it truly exceeded every expectation. The home itself is stunning — modern but warm, spacious without ever feeling impersonal, and perfectly designed for both adults and kids to enjoy. The upper-level living space has amazing views of the ski slopes and the Yampa Valley, and we loved gathering around the fireplace after long ski days. The kitchen is beautifully done and incredibly functional — large island, high-end appliances, walk-in pantry — and the dining table made for great group dinners with a view. The outdoor decks (firepit, heaters, hot tub) were used daily. Downstairs was a huge hit with the kids (and honestly, the adults too). The arcade game, air hockey, climbing wall, and big-screen TV made it hard to leave the house. The bunk rooms were thoughtfully designed with ensuite bathrooms, which made hosting our large group seamless. The mudroom with boot dryers in the garage was also a lifesaver afret our very wet powder day. The location in Wildhorse is ideal — easy walk to the gondola and quick access to both the mountain and downtown. The shuttle service made everything effortless. But what truly sets this experience apart was the service from Moving Mountains. I accidentally left my boot bag in the garage and didn’t realize it until I arrived at the Steamboat airport. The General Manager personally got in her car and delivered my bag directly to the airport curb — in time for me to make my flight. That level of responsiveness and care is almost unheard of and speaks volumes about how they treat their guests. Spotted Saddle Lodge isn’t just a beautiful home — it’s a first-class experience from start to finish. We’re already talking about coming back next year.

Our stay at Spotted Saddle Lodge was AMAZING. Steps from the gondola to get right to the mountain for fresh powder, spotless and clean, warm, cozy, inviting... I cannot rave more highly about the property. Beds were comfy, views gorgeous, the outdoor fire table on the patio was clutch. Book it, you will not be disappointed! (I wish I took pics in the property but only have them from the mountain! Epic!!!) THANK YOU to the owners! 😍
Excellent choice
Our group's stay at the Spotted Saddle Lodge was incredible. The owners thought of everything! The layout is excellent with multiple areas for large group gatherings inside and out. I recommend the Spotted Saddle Lounge is an excellent choice for multiple families or a large group "buddy" trip.

We stayed at the Spotted Saddle Lodge last Spring and it was simply wonderful. Luxurious finishes. Incredibly spacious. Great for multiple families with kids. The game room was very popular with mine. Plus being walking distance to community pools and hot tubs was a nice touch as was walking distance to the gondola that takes you to the mountain base. I would absolutely stay here again.

Spotted Saddle Lodge is a stunner! The owners thought of everything and house is built for ultimate enjoyment - every detail is beautiful. Sitting on this porch every morning was a joy. The kitchen is perfectly appointed and is a chef’s dream. The beds are very comfortable and the layout is perfect for enjoyment by multiple families. Would be a perfect place to host a family or college friends reunion. Couldn’t say enough about this house ❤️
