Situated on the upper level, a beautiful great room has plenty of wow factor with a wall of windows framing the ski area views, high ceilings, beautiful wood floors, and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a TV. Clean lines, stylish furnishings, and an open flow into the kitchen and dining area make this show-stopper room the place to gather and enjoy.
Retreat to the front deck on comfortable outdoor seating with heaters and a gas fire table, an incredible space for happy hour or morning coffee while watching skiers or bikers on the mountain and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The chefs in your group will love the gourmet kitchen, a magnificent space with high-end stainless appliances, a 6-burner gas stove, two ovens, two sinks, custom white cabinetry, and a large white-quartz center island with seating for four. A spacious pantry provides a coffee station, a wine fridge, a host of appliances, and ample storage.

It’s set up perfectly for a family ski trip. 
By far the best VRBO hosting company I have experienced. They have a full team on call whenever you need anything. They even have a shuttle service with an app that is on par with UBER which is a huge help when trying to get to skiing or dinner. The house itself is in new condition, has exceptional views, a great hot tub, large garage, it’s set up perfectly for a family ski trip. 10/10
This was probably the best family vacation we have had.
This was by far the nicest house we have rented for a family vacation. The house was fully equipped with every possible thing you can imagine for cooking, entertaining and relaxing. Moving Mountains, the management company, welcomed us to make sure we knew how everything works and where to find all the amenities, like the sparkling clean hot tub. They even left us wine, snacks and a charcuterie board. They came back later with 2 of the most adorable stuffed moose for the kids. They did our food shopping and stocked the refrigerator. They also arranged for a private chef one evening. We had 6 adults and 2 small children . It was the perfect house for enjoying family time with a huge open kitchen, dining and living area upstairs with fantastic views of the slopes just in front of the huge picture windows. There is a beautiful recreation level in the lower level with board games and a pool table. There is a huge primary bedroom with fireplace on first floor and 4 en-suite bedrooms on the lower level. The heated garage even has an EV charger which was a lifesaver. The house is located 5 minutes from the ski base/gondola and 5 minutes to a large super market. This was probably the best family vacation we have had. You will not regret renting this amazing home.

HIGHLY recommend staying at this amazing home!! My family and I rented this house for the weekend while I got married in Steamboat, and it was the perfect place to hang our hats amidst all the chaos. It was clean, great location, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more! On top of that, the team was super communicative when we did incur some maintenance issues and resolved them swiftly and on our timeline. Cannot wait to return - loved our stay!

"We absolutely loved the Monarch Retreat- it was the perfect stay following our wedding festivities for our family. The house was perfect for a group of nine people; we were obsessed with the deck spaces, pool room, and large living spaces which made it easy to relax as a group. We also have to give a huge shoutout to Moving Mountains for the welcome gift they brought us. The only reason that our rating was 4/5 stars was that several of the amenities were out of commission or broken upon check-in (fireplaces and hot tub). It took several days and several attempts to fix, which is why we had to rate as we did."
