Upon entering the exceptional Chateau of Breckenridge, you’ll be greeted with warmth and inspired finishes. The multiple levels allow plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the alluring amenities present throughout. The main level is home to the expansive gourmet kitchen, great room, and dining room plus several other spaces to entertain and unwind.
The professional-grade gourmet kitchen will delight and deliver – make use of the Wolf gas range, large center island, and full-size refrigerator and freezer. Two full-size sinks plus one smaller sink and expansive granite countertops will allow many chefs to work together to create mouth-watering dishes. The kitchen offers a front-row seat to the skiers gliding down the 4 O’Clock Run through the grand window.
Between the kitchen and dining room sits a butler’s pantry with plenty of space to store the week’s provisions. The grand dining room comfortably sits 14 – additional seating is available at the kitchen breakfast bar or the breakfast nook, just around the corner. After dinner, retire to the great room and gather around the gas fireplace – or the grand piano.
The Chateau of Breckenridge boasts 5 luxurious king bedroom suites, all with private baths and televisions – 4 of the 5 feature gas fireplaces. All five-bedroom suites are located one level up from the main level. A laundry room is conveniently located on this level as well.
The secret room off the kitchen offers a bonus sleeping area with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a spiral staircase up to a secret library. There is also an additional sleeping area on the lower level of the home, next to the theater, with two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Please note that neither of these bunk bedrooms has access to a full bathroom without walking through one of the king suites.
Up two levels from the main level is the remarkable all-season rooftop patio, complete with spectacular mountain and city views, a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, built-in warming oven, and barbecue grill, bar, gas fire pit, and hot tub. The rooftop patio is fully functional in the winter (note: outdoor furniture cushions are stored away, and the bar sink is not functional in winter months). A den with sofas and a powder bath are also located on this level.
Looking for additional entertainment? Retreat to the lower level of the chateau and discover a full bar complete with bar-style seating, pub tables, and a lounge area with a comfy sofa and chairs, a billiards table, 2 TVs, and a large theater room with 12 recliners.
When you’re ready to hit the slopes, the ski room on the main level offers plenty of gear storage, benches, a convenient powder bath, and a steam shower. Once you’re all suited up, step through the sliding glass door and you’re practically on the 4 O’clock Ski Run.
Other amenities include an elevator, two washers and dryers, and a 3-bay heated garage with parking for 5 cars total.

This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Moving Mountains is absolutely amazing
Moving Mountains is absolutely amazing and provides incredible service. We booked the Château of Breckenridge for a 5-day company retreat. The 11,000 SF house was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. This should be listed as a “Ski off back porch” instead of “ski in ski out”. The slope is literally 10’ from the back door, it was incredible. The home featured a large ski locker room with a steam room, a movie theater we used a lot, and an amazing massive rooftop deck with a hot tub and firepit. Highly recommended!

Wonderful 
The home was fabulous! Lots of space to enjoy! The kitchen was well stocked, appliances were excellent. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The location of the home was very convenient to downtown Breckenridge. There was a free bus shuttle to downtown at the end of the road. Was a nice option for those that wanted to venture out on their own. The rooftop space was perfect for all of us (13) to hang out, prepare dinner on the grill, cornhole, hot tub and enjoy the beautiful views. A great surprise was when a moose visited us one morning in the backyard area!! Would highly recommend staying in this home!
Spectacular Home
This house was so absolutely perfect. It was big, beautiful, clean, and had every amenity you could ask for. We took full advantage of all of the incredible amenities. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit on the rooftop, watched movies in the theater room at night and had happy hour in the family room while listening to the player piano. Moving Mountains was so accommodating and helpful to get us set up with different excursions and making sure that the home was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Luxury experience
From start to finish our stay at Chateau of Breckenridge was 10/10. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the value of the high-price point experience was more than realized through their trip concierge, who helped us coordinate (at the very last minute) bag transportation from the airport to the home. Working in a luxury experience environment myself, it is clear that the hosts at Moving Mountains "get it". More than once we've paid a high price point that did not deliver on the luxury experience, and Chateau of Breckenridge absolutely delivered. The home is gorgeous,offers every possible amenity, is a true ski-in ski-out, and is placed on a great part of the mountain. We also commented several times on how well-stocked & well equipped the home was. Anything we needed the home had. We're looking forward to coming back for another stay!

A Stunning Family Retreat
We had a wonderful time at the Chauteau. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel! It met all our expectations and beyond, and we all genuinely hope we can someday return for another glorious week. The final night of our stay, our entire family gathered on the rooftop decking with all lights out. We were able to see thousands and thousands of brilliant stars along with the Milky Way. Truly magnificent and a highlight of our trip. We consider the week spent at this lovely home in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary the trip of a lifetime.
Better than expected
I'm not sure there is a better rental house in a better location in all of Breckenridge. Don't need to say much more than that. Amazing place and great service from this company. There were a few minor maintenance items that need to be taken care of but with a house this large and rental turnover, I think it's expected. The one issue that affected us was fixed immediately, within hours.
Perfect!
The Chateau was everything we had hoped and more. Reading reviews and looking at photo galleries was one thing but seeing this place in person was even better. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

They were very attentive to any problem that came up and made us feel very welcome This home is right by the fairy trail that was an exciting surprise for grandkids We also loved the wild life; Moose, Fox and ground squirrels. Green Stone Retreat
The house was fantastic, although the coffee makers were a little difficult to use, they kept overflowing and giving us issues. It also would have been nice to have a floor plan of this house before hand as its so Grand! Other than that I feel that everything was really wonderful, we felt comfortable and the house was big enough that we could all have our space if need be. The tv room with projector was a bit complex and could have maybe been simplified or have clearer written instructions. Thank you so much for renting to us this space really was spectacular!

It doesnt get any better than this
Staying in a fun house is very helpful to keep a group of 20 entertained. We brought our own chef who had no problem using all the culinary and cooking stations we needed. Steaks on the professional grills. Multuple ovens. Cooking on the roof was a snap with the elevator for loading and taking up stairs. For the night owels, watching movies in the theatre room and parting in the hot tub doesnt bother a soul. Except maybe the neighbors. Plenty of room to get away from each other was nice too. Master bed room was a once in a life time experience on its own. I cant give a better review than an A++++ and thank you for having such a fantastic rental. I cant wait to to bring the family back for the ski season. Its going to be Amazing.
Wonderful Stay at Chateau of Breckenridge
We had a small family reunion and we all stayed in the house which ended up being absolutely perfect. I can't think of anything we would change. The rooftop living space was absolutely the best! We spent every evening up there enjoying the gorgeous views, wonderful weather and cozy fire pit. It was the perfect place to stay and gave us more than enough room to spread out. The kids kept busy on the trails just outside the home, playing pool, watching movies in the theater, etc. The wildlife that approached the back patio was incredible: fox, deer, porcupine, and even a moose! NEVER a dull moment for anyone!

Great ski in/out location for all levels in a massive house.
We had 3 families stay and it easily accomodated all of us. There really is only 4 bathrooms with showers so sharing is required. The location on the 4 o’clock ski run is perfect. The boot room is very convenient. It’s a few hundred meters walk to the free bus which works well. But Uber is easy y if it’s too cold or snowing. This house is huge, the kids loved the home theatre and the adults loved the roof top deck.
Family Reunion
We were 3 generations, 16 people, ages 1-71 years enjoying every amenity of this elaborate home in probably the best ski in/out location in Breckenridge. Due to size and ages of group, we cooked wonderful meals in the great kitchen. Watching snocats at 6:30 am intrigued the young ones. Dog sledding, the ice castles, and tubing were great adventures...skiing was best week ever.
AMAZING- Pictures do not do it justice
We stayed here and hosted our small intimate wedding at this home. It was absolutely stunning and we not have picked a better home, view, and worked with a better team than this company. Gayle was phenomenal to say the least! They were all warm, welcoming and eager to help and answer all my questions. When you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful family stat
Our family from DC, Nashville, and Houston gathered for a week stay here and it was the ideal setting. Our group ranged in age from 3 to 76, and the house beautifully accommodated all of us and provided countless activities. We enjoyed sunset dinners on the rooftop, hours of fun on the lawn watching butterflies in the butterfly bush, cooking together, watching movies, playing pool, etc., etc. The more active folks found several stunning hikes nearby and those who weren't up for it enjoyed the short walk to the village. Truly a special place, and the staff was wonderful to work with every step of the way. We have stayed in several other high end rentals and this house was the best equipped we'd ever experienced, particularly in the kitchen. It made it very easy to cook the same quality dishes I do at home. Additionally, every square inch of the house was spotless. Highly, highly recommend.
Amazing rooftop wedding at the Chateau
House was amazing. More than enough room for all our guests and for our wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone for future events or vacations.
GORGEOUS wedding venue
Our daughter had envisioned a small intimate wedding in the mountains of Colorado. This property did not disappoint. There were five luxurious rooms for the majority of our family and wedding guests insuring a whole weekend of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the rooftop deck and the backyard patio as well. Peaceful and calm. Fabulous!
Exceptional Rental Home!
The Chateau of Breckenridge was simply amazing. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. We held a small family wedding on August 29th at this home and it was fabulous. The ceremony took place on the home's beautiful rooftop and all of our guests absolutely loved it. The views from the roof were spectacular. The home is top notch, very large but comfortable. I can't say enough about what a wonderful property this is. We will definitely return in the future!

Review of Chateau of Breckenridge (Summer 2021)
Stayed at this house for one week in Summer 2021. We have stayed at a few similar properties over the years, but always before this, during ski season. Given this was the summer, we chose the Chateau because of its roof terrace, which was fantastic and where we always migrated to. The house itself was very clean and well maintained, huge (almost hotel like with the size of the stairwell, hallways) and was probably the house we've been able to have the most fun in, given the roof terrace and really nice movie room. Definitely glad we had it for the summer - might not have been as good in the winter, but that's just my speculation. Slept about 15 of us (mixture of adults and kids) in great comfort. Five star experience overall. The staff are also great - before and during the rental.
Better than expected
This place is unreal it is so great. The locker room is the best part. We had our skis delivered and had our lift tickets already so we just woke up and went skiing. The house made the the best ski trip we've ever taken and maybe even the best trip. We had groceries delivered and pretty much just stayed at the house. We hope to return soon.
