Steamboat Hot Air Balloon Rides

Soar above Steamboat in a hot air balloon. This unique 45-minute ride includes breakfast, a champagne ceremony, brag-worthy photo opps, and a whole new perspective on our beautiful valley.

The rides start early, but with homemade muffins, champagne, and a side of drop-dead views from a hot air balloon basket, we’re guessing you won’t regret not hitting the snooze button.

Just like pretty much every other Colorado activity, it’s recommended that you dress in layers. Early morning on the launch field can be quite chilly. Thankfully, the fire from the balloon keeps the actual ride temperature quite comfortable, but Colorado weather changes in an instant, always be prepared with warmer clothing options. Kids must be at least 6 years old and over 4 feet tall (so that they can see over the basket). Launches are weather dependent, so always stay in touch with the pilot before the ride to make sure that it’s a good day for ballooning.
