Mountain views in front of the fire Sun Ridge Lodge is named for its ideal location upon a ridge overlooking the sun's final path as it sets in the Yampa Valley. Guests cannot escape the beckoning of the sunset waiting to be enjoyed from the plush sofa on the covered deck in front of the outdoor, gas fireplace.

For those who prefer watching this end of the day ritual from the solace of the indoors, the Great Room windows stretch practically from the floor to the peaked cathedral ceiling. The sitting area on the top floor overlooks the Great Room and is perfect spot for admiring both the exposed timber beams and trusses or the gorgeous sunsets.

Just off the Great Room is a professional kitchen complete with a Wolf gas range and Sub Zero refrigerator. Two long, parallel islands allow plentiful room for seating or prepping for the evening meal.

Sun Ridge was built to give its occupants a rugged mountain cabin feel without sacrificing elegance and luxury. Among the many treats is a great surround sound system that will allow music to follow you wherever you go. The dining table seats 10 with four more places at the bar.

This home has five bedrooms each with a flat panel TV, plush terry robes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries.

This home has oodles of space for kids and adults to relax in their own space or gather together. Enjoy a game of pool or the PlayStation 3 system (includes video games) in the recreation room. The wet bar allows for pre and post dinner entertaining and of course no home of this caliber would be complete without its own hot tub and view of the Steamboat ski area.

The laundry room features ski lockers so everyone can keep their gear organized for quick departures on powder day mornings. A unique feature, and the centerpiece of this already beautiful, spacious home, is the glass elevator which ensures you'll never miss one moment of the sunset.
