An oversized stone fireplace reaches up two stories to the exposed timber trusses. The second floor balcony overlooks the Great Room below where the stone work complements the large picture windows looking up at the ski mountain. The covered front deck beckons guests to sit in one of the Adirondack chairs in front of the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the mountain sunset or the evening snowfalls in warmth and comfort.

Designed with large groups, or multiple families in mind, Chapelco Lodge offers an intelligent layout providing ample space for entertaining as a large group or giving the adults and kids their own space. The Great Room connects a living area with dining area adjacent to the professionally equipped kitchen with Thermador Gas Range and Sub Zero refrigeration. An adjacent wet bar with wine refrigerator offers additional space for drink service, convenient for the kitchen, dining and Great Room.

A beautiful finished round dining table seats 8 with additional seating at the kitchen bar for 3. On the lower level the large recreation room with gas fireplace, flat screen TV and PS3 Video game system and regulation size pool table also features a wet bar for convenient entertaining.

Guests will appreciate the fine details such as the unique tile work in each bathroom and its cedar shake roof, a gourmet kitchen, beautiful Carlyle wide plank Hickory floors and custom metal work. Six bedrooms all with internet flat panel TV's include a large bunk room with exquisite views of the Steamboat Ski Area.

The home has a two-car garage so you can keep your vehicles out of the snow at night. Chapelco Lodge is named for the ski area in San Martin de los Andes in Argentina, Steamboat's South American sister city.
