Master bedroom at Alcandora Lodge Alcandora, Spanish for "beacon," is so named as this home will be the light and inspiration of your vacation experience. Large picture windows will beckon you into its warm and inviting interior. An exceptional property, in a pristine and private neighborhood just minutes from the Steamboat Ski Area.

Newly constructed this luxury vacation home also features colorful light fixtures and unique tile work throughout the home.  Designed with large groups, or multiple families in mind, the Great Room provides ample space for living, dining and entertaining with a view of the slopes. Downstairs a large recreation room with PS3 video game system and large flat panel TV provides additional space for entertaining including a bar with seating for five.

The Great Room's wide plank Hickory floors compliment the oversized stone fireplace as it reaches up two stories to the exposed timber trusses and tongue and groove pine ceiling. A grand stairway, with custom metal railings, lead to the balcony overlooking the room below.

The kitchen features a 6-burner Viking gas range and large Viking refrigerator, large island with seating for four. An adjacent butler pantry has a wine refrigerator as does the downstairs rec room wet bar, and offers additional space for drink service, convenient for the kitchen, dining and Great Room. A beautiful hand-crafted live-edge tiger maple dining table seats 10.

The two master bedrooms each offer great views of the mountain, private balconies, a gas fireplace and a large soaking tub with separate shower. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs with cable .

This property can also be rented out with its sister property, Chapelco Lodge, next door. An unprecedented opportunity to accommodate up to 32 people.
