There are three, public Steamboat Springs Golf courses and one private club in the valley. All of them are inspiring for the terrain and views that surround them. Steamboat Springs golf courses include:  Haymaker Golf Course - In the heart of the Yampa Valley, Haymaker is a links-style course that blends in with the surrounding open space. Designed by Keith Foster, the course resembles the contours of the surrounding valley and mountains.There is a driving range and a chipping/putting practice green, pro shop and recently remodeled club house with a restaurant and bar.  Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club - Located near the mountain base area, Rollingstone Ranch was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and features babbling brooks and streams as well as dramatic tee shots. The back nine was built around Fish Creek, just below the canyon. There is a driving range, practice bunker and putting green. The clubhouse has locker rooms and dining room.  Steamboat Golf Club - Located just west of town this 9 hole golf course borders the Yampa River.
