This large family vacation home offers a great summer on-mountain lodging forfamilies and groups seeking a spacious comfortable home. Leave from yourdoor straight onto the mountain hiking and biking trails. And ample living space both indoors and out.

With 6,000 square feet of space this large home is great base for your family or group gathering. The open plan main living area includes a large Great Room with wood-burning fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen will allow you to easily cater to your groups needs and the adjacent dining area includes an 8 person dining table, and 4 person breakfast table, as well as breakfast bar seating for 4.

Chateau at Trails Edge was designed with large families in mind. Numerous sleeping options are available. The upper level includes the master bedroom with king bed, fireplace, large flat panel TV and private bathroom; the guest master, also with a King bed, has a private bathroom; and two other queen bedrooms share a bathroom.

On the mid level is the large dorm room with sleeping options for four to seven guests sharing two bathrooms. The great room also offers a sleeper sofa.

The lower level includes a family room with fireplace and big screen TV and a separate game room with pool table and another TV. The two bedrooms(Queen + twin / king) on this level share a bathroom.

For relaxation guests also have an outdoor hot tub, plenty of outdoor space and a garage that has been converted to a second rec room with ping pong, foosball, driving net and putting set.

Each of the 7 bedrooms offer TVs equipped with cable TV and DVD Player. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the Great Room.

From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) look for directions to the ski area via Mt Werner Rd. Take Mt Werner Rd towards the large knoll (aprx 3/4 mile) where the new Steamboat Grand Hotel is visible on the back-side. Take a left onto the Mt Werner Circle and after 1/4 mile take another left onto Burgess Creek Rd.

Proceed aprx 1.7 miles up Burgess Creek Rd (4WD required), past the Scandinavian Lodge and turn right onto Trails Edge Road (caution steep downhill). The Chateau at Trails Edge is near the end of this road on the left at 2825.
