The Creekside Chalet (formerly known as "Moving Mountains Chalet") offers private & spacious ski accommodation for larger families and groups in the prestigious Burgess Creek neighborhood close to the Thunderhead high-speed quad lift.
The expansive Great Room with cathedral-ceiling offers spectacular views of the mountains. Step out on the sunny south-facing deck for a view down the valley. This room offers plenty of room for all to lounge in. Our over-stuffed leather furniture invites you to relax with your feet up!
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with professional grade gas stovetop and griddle, double ovens and double Bosch dishwashers. With our full-service option our chefs will tantalize your taste-buds with healthy gourmet delights that will energize you for a day on the mountain. Children can also enjoy meals at their own pace in the breakfast nook with seating for 8, while adults enjoy relaxed meals in the spacious 10-person dining area in the Great Room.
On a side deck that borders the National Forest looking up to the ski mountain, is an 8-person hot tub. Soak, unwind and plan adventures for the day ahead under a starlit sky or while fresh "Champagne" powder coats the mountain.
On the lower level of the chalet is a large game room with foosball, Wii video games system, home theater 50" big screen TV with surround sound and full stock of books and board games for young ones. Here movie lovers can dim the lights and turn up the sound or children can play and let off steam without disturbing the rest of the chalet.

All bedrooms have a flat panel TV with built-in DVD player, plush terry robes, slippers, complimentary toiletries, and IPOD compatible clock/radio. Beds have featherbeds and euro comforters. All bedrooms have private ensuite full bathrooms.

From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) look for directions to the ski area via Mt Werner Rd. Take Mt Werner Rd towards the large knoll (aprx 3/4 mile) where the new Steamboat Grand Hotel is visible on the back-side. Take a left onto the Mt Werner Circle and after 1/4 mile take another left onto Burgess Creek Rd.
Proceed aprx 1.3 miles up Burgess Creek Rd (4WD required). Creekside Chalet is located on the left side of the road at 2774 Burgess Creek Rd - just past the "Winterwood" sign on the right. If you continue round the long bend to the right and up the hill to the Scandinavian Lodge you went too far!
