This chalet is part of a new duplex located in the Burgess Creek Neighborhood, close to the Thunderhead lift.  With the finest amenities and unique flexible bed configurations this luxury lodging can accommodate 12 guests in style.

Bedrooms can be configured as a king or with two twin bedsThis chalet offers a spacious great room with covered deck and mountain views.  Leather sofas invite you to relax in front of the large fireplace and 45" plasma TV.

The adjoining dining area features a hand-crafted 10-person alder dining table that beautifully complements the fine craftsmanship of the interior woodwork.

The large open floor plan kitchen is fully equipped and includes the finest appliances from Wolf and SubZero.  Custom alder cabinets and granite counters make a rich environment to inspire the creativity of any chef.

The rec room on the lower level combines as a media and games roomwith a 50" big screen TV with surround sound, Playstation 2 video games and a pool table.

The separate mud room includes a boot dryer and storage cupboards for all your ski equipment.

The chalet is equipped with an elevator serving all floors.

The luxurious beds have high thread-count sheets, featherbeds and Euro comforters. Bedrooms also offer individual DVD players and flat panel LCD TV's, alarm clocks with MP3 / IPOD input, robes and slippers.  The flexible bedding configuration provides the option of as many as 11 individual beds - also ideal for corporate gatherings.

From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) look for directions to the ski area via Mt Werner Rd. Take MtWerner Rd towards the large knoll (aprx 3/4 mile) where the newSteamboat Grand Hotel is visible on the back-side. Take a left onto theMt Werner Circle and after 1/4 mile take another left onto BurgessCreek Rd.

Proceed aprx 1.3 miles up Burgess Creek Rd (4WD Required). The BearChalets is located on the left side of the road at 2758 and 2760Burgess Creek Rd - opposite the "Winterwood" sign on the right. BlackBear Chalet is the left unit when looking from the street. Brown BearChalet is the right unit. If you continue round the long bend to theright and up the hill to the Scandinavian Lodge you went too far!
