The Bear Chalets at Burgess Creek is a fabulous duplex property that is connected allowing both units to be combined as an eight-bedroom ski vacation home with a total area of over 9600 sq.ft.
When combined this spectacular ski lodging offers two spacious great rooms with covered decks and mountain views. Leather sofas invite you to relax in front of the large fireplace and 45" plasma TV.
The adjoining dining areas feature hand-crafted 10-person alder dining tables that beautifully complement the fine craftsmanship of the interior woodwork.
The large open floor plan kitchens are fully equipped and include the finest appliances from Wolf and Sub Zero. Custom alder cabinets and granite counters make a rich environment to inspire the creativity of any chef.
The rec rooms on the lower levels combine as media and games rooms with a 50" big screen TV with surround sound, Playstation 2 video games and a pool table.
The separate mud room includes a boot dryer and storage cupboards for all your ski equipment.
The chalets are each equipped with an elevator serving all floors.

The luxurious beds have high thread-count sheets, featherbeds and Euro comforters. From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) exit on Mt Werner Rd. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, toward the ski mountain. Take Mt Werner Rd towards the large knoll (approx. 3/4 mile) where the Steamboat Grand Hotel is visible on the back-side. Take a left onto the Mt Werner Circle and after 1/4 mile take another left onto Burgess Creek Rd.
Proceed approx. 1.3 miles up Burgess Creek Rd (4WD Required).The Bear Chalets are located on the left side of the road at 2758 and 2760 Burgess Creek Rd - opposite the "Winterwood" sign on the right. Black Bear Chalet is the left unit when looking from the street. Brown Bear Chalet is the right unit. If you continue round the long bend to the right and up the hill to the Scandinavian Lodge you went too far!
