The great room with wood burning fireplace is a cozy retreat at the end of the day. The rustic style of this chalet is reminiscent of a typical European Chalet, with exposed wood beam and natural wood finishes throughout.And with three levels, there is plenty of space for your group to spread out.
Numerous recent upgrades include : hardwood floor, new carpet, granite counters and new appliances in the kitchen, new 12 person dining table and chairs and new living room leather couches.
The Family Room on the lower level has a pool table as well as TV.

From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) look for directions to the ski area via MtWerner Rd. Take Mt Werner Rd towards the large knoll (aprx 3/4 mile)where the new Steamboat Grand Hotel is visible on the back-side. Take a left onto the Mt Werner Circle and after 1/4 mile take another leftonto Burgess Creek Rd.
Proceed aprx 1.7 miles up Burgess Creek Rd, and past the Scandinavian Lodge. Continue to the endof Burgess Creek Road and Thunderhead Chalet is the last house on theright at 2975.
