Dining in the ‘Boat - the newest additions

Truffle-Pig-OneSteamboatPlace

Have you been coming to Steamboat for years?  Then you are sure to be aware of some long-time Steamboat dining favorites, like Cafe Diva (fine gourmet dining) , The Ore House, (steakhouse), and Riggios (Italian).  But we’ve had some fresh, new additions to our dining scene over the last couple years, and we encourage you to check them out!

The Laundry:  The latest of chef Rex Brice’s family of restaurants, The Laundry will feature “casual elegant” dining with contemporary American food by award-winning Executive Chef Vicki Connacher.  Located in 11th Street in the Soda Creek building. Full Menu.

Carl’s Tavern:  Named after the famous “ski-flyer” Carl Howelsen, Carl’s Tavern offers up-scaled pub food, including a variety of oysters, in an excellent location for viewing ski-jumping on Howelsen Hill or Winter Carnival events like the Lighted Man.  They are also famous for their Rocky Mountain Mule (vodka and ginger beer) served in a rustic copper cup.  Located on 7th and Yampa in Howelsen Place. Full Menu.

Truffle Pig:  Located in the mountain village at the base of One Steamboat Base, the Truffle Pig features casually elegant cuisine crafted from the finest and freshest ingredients, including free-range game and meats and line caught seafood.  They also offer a market with grab-and-go breakfasts for a hard day of skiing and a unique apres-ski atmosphere with their outdoor fire pit and drink specials.  Full Menu.
