Kick back and enjoy the evening!
If it’s a warm, modern, vacation rental home in a quiet Steamboat neighborhood you are seeking, Sunlight Chalet is the place for you! One of our newest lodging additions at Moving Mountains Chalets, Sunlight Chalet is named for its western facing windows that brighten and warm the home during the day. So when you return from skiing, just kick back and relax with an après ski beverage of choice and enjoy the sunset.
Those daring enough to bundle up will be treated to the same panoramic views on the covered wrap-around deck. Sunlight Chalet already boasts a generous 3,500 square feet of living space inside however, the there is plenty more outdoor living space on the property to be enjoyed. Downstairs on the garden level, is the hot tub, just a few short steps from the door. It too is covered so you can enjoy watching the snow fall without it piling on your head.

Game of pool anyone?
Also downstairs is the rec. room. Although on the ground level, this room also gets plenty of sunshine during the daylight hours. Once the sun goes down the room is still a warm and bright place to play a little pool or challenge other group members to Wii. Two flat screen TVs are provided, so guests can play Wii and watch a movie simultaneously.
Sunlight Chalet features four bedrooms, three upstairs including the master bedroom. The fourth bedroom is just off the rec room. A futon couch in the rec room also provides additional bedding sleeping up to 10 people. A modern kitchen with Jenn Air and Viking appliances opens up into the great room so the sunset can be enjoyed as dinner preparations are being made.

Sunlight Chalet is both casual and elegant
Only a mile from the slopes, its location in a quiet residential neighborhood offers both the privacy and quiet you desire on your mountain escape. Moving Mountains ski shuttle service will get you to and from the slopes, and you can call our shuttle driver for a ride downtown.
