Elegant mountain style at One Steamboat Place
Lodging in Steamboat Springs took a significant step upwards when One Steamboat Place opened last January. Here began a new chapter in vacation rental home luxury in this still low-key Colorado resort town. Its ideal location at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area, just steps from the ski area’s gondola, is indeed a perk. However it is the pristine furnishings and attention to detail that has everyone buzzing about this spectacular property.
“Skirting the south perimeter of the ski area’s base, OSP—with its reclaimed timber and weathered steel arches—provides a gateway to the revitalized Gondola Square,” writes Deb Williams of SKI Magazine. “Plush couches and distressed leather chairs overflow with pillows; a mix of eclectic furniture, artwork and antiques imbue each room with ambience that is unmistakably Steamboat.”

Warm and inviting at One Steamboat Place
When you walk into one of the residences at One Steamboat Place you are simply impressed. Although it is hard to put your finger on the style. It is contemporary without being cold. There is a suggestion of the mountain lodge without a hint of rustic. Purposely ambiguous or not, it is warm and inviting, stylish and comfortable and a delight to know it’s your home for the time being.
