
Winter storm arriving in Steamboat
If there was any question that the ski was off to a slow start the holiday travelers bound for Steamboat Springs, CO will be rubbing their hands with glee at the latest forecast which predicts as much as 16 inches of new snow over the next 24 hours.
This is what we all live for and we are excited to see a big system moving in and potential building for our first epic powder days of the winter. Keep checking back for the latest snow reports.

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MST TUESDAY.
* A STRONG WINTER STORM HAS MOVED INTO THE REGION AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE SNOWFALL THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
* TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 8 TO 16 INCHES BY TUESDAY EVENING.
* WINDS WILL SWING AROUND TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST BY TUESDAY WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH. THE STRONG WINDS WILL GENERATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.
