Snow hits Steamboat
All signs point to the meaningful arrival of winter as snow is falling and most of us are still driving around on our summer tires.
The first official storm of the winter rolls in tonight and a full delivery of Champagne Powder snow is expected. The forecast of 4 - 6 inches can actually mean anything from 2 - 20+ inches. We are all looking for snow shovels and hoping that the snow-blower fires on the first go tomorrow.
In Steamboat, once the conditions turn in favor of snow it’s anyone’s guess as to how much we will actually receive. Any time it snows before Halloween is a good indication for the upcoming ski season - just 28 days away!
Woot! Woot!
