Ghost Ranch Saloon - Steamboat's new nightspot
With a ranching heritage that dates back 100 years, Steamboat Springs would not be complete without a saloon to relieve your parched body after a day on the range - otherwise known these days as mountain bike trails! The Ghost Ranch Saloon is the newest watering hole to spring up in the renaissance of downtown Steamboat Springs that includes the completion of four blocks of new commercial and residential development.
With live music nightly in an authentic western setting, the Saloon is the new pulse of downtown Steamboat. With national and regional acts booked through the summer, The Ghost Ranch Salon is likely to enjoy a regular following from locals and visitors alike.
The quaint 7000 square foot, 375 person capacity space was modeled after the acclaimed Montana Bar, but they aren’t playing favorites to country or western and have an all-kinds-accepted theory. Blues-laden soul, punk, early rock ‘n roll, jazz, and even a Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead review are on the schedule to perform.
While standing at the authentic 1896 Brunswick-Balke-Collender bar, guests can enjoy good grub with a cold beverage. Happy Hour is from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and the menu ranges from fun appetizers, affordable burgers and sandwiches, to fancy fare.
Whether you have a cowboy hat and boots or not, plan on saddling up to the Ghost Ranch Saloon and kick up your heels to good music and good times.
