Free Outdoor MusicFest Concert

Wednesday, January 05 2011, 1:30pm - 4:30pm
A set of FREE public music concerts will rock the outdoor stage in Gondola Square at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area at 1:30pm Thursday, January 6th and again on Saturday, January 8th as part of the Steamboat MusicFest. In addition, a Cajun cookout and washer tourney round out the festivities during Saturday afternoon for concert-goers.

Max Stalling-10 years…5 cds...respect as a songwriter… top flight band…an expanding and loyal fan base. Not TOO bad of a track record for a guy who never felt he really had any business being in the music business. So stands Stalling – poised on the edge of the next chapter in his career: armed with a strong, new cd anxiously awaited by a loyal fan base, respect from his songwriting peers and a stellar band to back him up. Not TOO bad for a former snack-food scientist turned songwriter.

Bart Crow Band describes their sound as "a unique blend of country & rock with a lot of heart & soul." With songs that intertwine and weave stories that walk the line between redemption and despair, Bart Crow writes songs from the heart that leave you wondering, was singing about me, or drawing off of his own emotions on life, love, & friends. The Bart Crow Band is made up of some of the finest musicians that Texas has to offer.
