Free, all ages concerts in Gondola Square
The Steamboat Ski Area will again be rockin’ this spring as the Bud
Light Rocks the ‘Boat Free Music Series returns for the 12th season
offering a great mixture of various musical genre. The Rocks the 'Boat
series has brought together everything from bluegrass and New Orleans
style rhythm & blues to traditional Irish sounds. Bands play for two
uninterrupted hours right at the base of the ski area where
non-skiing/riding music enthusiasts of all ages are able to enjoy the
spring après-scene.
John Popper and the Duskray Trubadors: John Popper and The Duskray Troubadours is more than a Popper-led solo
project or a back-to-basics whiff of nostalgia. It's the sum of six
rock-solid players-rounded out by bassist Steve Lindsay, drummer Mark
Clark, guitarists Kevin Trainor and Aaron Beavers, and
guitarist/producer Jono Manson-coming together to channel the loose,
limit-less spirit of simpler days.
Free concert dates include: February 26, March 4, 19, 26, April 2 and 10, 2011
