The great room with wood burning fireplace is a cozy retreat at the end of the day. The rustic style of this chalet is reminiscent of a typical European Chalet, with exposed wood beam and natural wood finishes throughout.
Numerous recent upgrades include : hardwood floor, new carpet, granite counters and new appliances in the kitchen, new 12 person dining table and chairs and new living room leather couches.
The Family Room on the lower level has a pool table as well as TV.
This chalet also offers high-speed, wi-fi internet connections.

From US40 (S. Lincoln Ave) exit on Mt Werner Rd. Turn left at the
bottom of the ramp, toward the ski mountain. Take Mt. Werner Rd. toward
the large knoll (approx. 3/4 mile) where the Steamboat Grand Hotel is
visible on the back-side. Take a left onto Mt. Werner Circle and
after 1/4 mile take another left onto Burgess Creek Rd.
Proceed approx 1.7 miles up
Burgess Creek Rd, past the Scandinavian Lodge. Continue to the end
of Burgess Creek Road and Thunderhead Chalet is the last house on the
right at 2975.
