Chalet ManagerResponsible for the overall operation and maintenance of any of the Moving Mountains Chalets or working within the Moving Mountains Catering Operation. This person is the chief liaison between the guests and the staff for planning and arranging anything required during the guests' stay. Responsible for restaurant reservations, skiing and non-ski related activities, as well as overseeing and assisting in all areas of chalet operations including food preparation, shopping, cleaning, maintenance, shuttle service etc.Ideal candidates are strong on customer service and would ideally have experience of the hospitality industry. Good people skills and an ability to multi-task are strengths we seek out. ChefResponsible for all aspects of food service at a chalet or working within the Moving Mountains Catering Operation. This will include menu planning, ordering, shopping, food preparation and service, cleaning, as well as providing back up to the manager and assistant in the areas of maintenance and shuttle service where required.We do not seek Michelin-star chefs to cook in our chalets. A desire to cook, a love of food and great people skills are far more important to us. Our chefs are at the heart of our chalet staff teams, and there is no"I" in Team. Chalet AssistantAssisting in all areas of the management and operation of the chalet or assisting at other times in the Moving Mountains Catering Operation. This is generally in a back up role to the duties of the Manager and the Chef. This will also include assisting guests during their stay with relation to skiing and non-ski related activities, food preparation, shopping, cleaning, maintenance, shuttle service etc.A willingness to work hard, and a desire to give 110% for the guests' enjoyment of their stay are qualities we seek in all of our staff - none more so than the assistants who are the dedicated support to the Chalet Manager and Chef. |
