What is a Catered Chalet?
While the catered chalet concept is popular in
Europe, Moving Mountains Chalets is a pioneer of this style of lodging in Colorado and the
only one in Steamboat Springs. The catered chalet experience is meant to provide a complete package with lodging, meals and transportation . Here at Moving Mountains our friendly staff
offers you a ski vacation experience like never before.
Our goal is to make your vacation hassle-free. You get more vacation
time and a superior vacation experience by removing day-to-day chores
like shopping, cooking, and driving your group around. Less time spent
in lines (ski-rentals, grocery store, lift tickets, rental-car counter)
means more time for skiing and relaxing with friends and family.
Spend your vacation in one of our luxury homes
with the professional service of our personal chefs and chalet staff
and you won't regret it!
There is a lot in the package...
With so much included, this really is great value.
Where else could you stay in first-class accommodation, enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks such as fresh baked cookies, and hors d'oeuvres, prepared by your personal chef.
You will also be picked up from the airport and chauffeured around Steamboat Springs throughout your stay in in a 4WD Suburban.
One of the greatest benefits that our full-service catered package
offers is the time that you save, which translates to the vacation time
that you gain. Consider what value you place on an hour of your time.
Would you prefer to spend a great deal of your vacation doing daily
chores? Or, would you like to get the very most of your skiing time and
spending time with your friends and family?
You are not saving much if you do this yourselves...
If you opt not to take the full-service catered package,
you will still incur the cost of many services that we include: getting
from the airport to your lodging, getting around town (to the grocery
& liquor store), food, drinks, snacks to set up your house for a
week, daily housekeeping, dinners out if you do not want to cook in.
Many skiers do not acknowledge their total vacation cost until the
credit card bill arrives after the trip.
